Don't Disturb Me! provides the first and only natural plant source of melatonin capsules currently on the US market. The product was previously only available in the UK, under the trade name "Asphalia for Natural Sleep." DIVA Marketing Group LLC, in Houston, TX is now private labeling the product in the US as "Don't Disturb Me! Asphalia for Natural Sleep". Don't Disturb Me! is primarily composed of Festuca Arundinacea, a Welsh meadow grass that provides a natural plant-based source of melatonin to help you fall asleep and stay asleep. Instead of the synthetic melatonin that is normally found in over the counter sleep aids, Don't Disturb Me! contains a physiological dose of natural melatonin combined with white clover. The physiological dose ensures that you are getting the correct amount of melatonin needed by your pineal gland to promote healthy sleep. Every step of the process, from sowing the grass to packaging the final product is carried out at the Wales location. We do not use synthetic fertilizers or insecticides on the soil growing our plants. Also, there are no artificial colors or preservatives added to our product. Our harvesting and preparation techniques are carefully designed to preserve the naturally occurring nutrient levels, and to avoid denaturing of the nutritional proteins they contain. A formal clinical trial was conducted in the UK at the Welsh Laboratory, Coghill Laboratories, headed by Dr. Roger Coghill. The results of this study are outlined in greater detail on our Clinical Study page, but was found to have a significant effect on sleep improvement. A second discovery was that when melatonin is administered at physiological levels rather than at the pharmacological levels found in tablets available OTC in the US, it is far more efficacious (it works better). A UK patent has been applied for to protect these discoveries. At this time, the company’s melatonin-rich product, trademarked Asphalia and approved for Over the Counter (OTC) sale in the UK by the MHRA, is the only such product available commercially in the world.
